Habitat Coffee Review

"Habitat creates a window to a time well-spent."

This was a quote that was found on the wall of the cafe.
I have to agree with that because cafes are all supposed to be like that.
Which is why I fell in love with little cafes like this.
Habitat Coffee is situated along the stretch of Upper Thomson Road.
Easy to spot because of the prominent black signboard!
Desserts!
Didn't tried any because mister and I ate too much.
There are two levels of seating capacity as well as al-fresco.
We were seated at level two and lucky enough to get a much more spacious seating.
It was around noon when we arrived and level one was already full house.
Oh why oh why.
Love the simple layout of the menu.
And here is what we had for lunch.
As Habitat is well-known for its brews, we decided to have coffee of course.
Le mister's Iced Mocha ($6.90)
Pretty good, but we still love the one we had over at Cups N Canvas!
Heh.
My favourite Hazelnut Coffee (Regular : $4.90).
There are other options available as well, like Caramel, Tiramisu, Vanilla, Irish Cream and Macadamia.
And I love my caffeine fix!
HelloTruffle ($8)!
This version is dressed with fine grated parmesean cheese which makes everything so much better.
I gladly stomach all those cheese because mister wasn't a fan of cheese.
Whee! ^^
I don't usually order Truffle Fries because I hadn't tasted an awesome one..
That is, until now!
Are you kidding me?
This truffle fries receives absolute stellar ratings from me!
And I totally FELL IN LOVE with them.
Each and every potato is so crispy and soaked well with that definite fragrance that you just can't stop yourself from grabbing more from the mess tin.
Mister had this, The Big Ben ($14).
This includes scrambled eggs, honey baked ham on english fluff, a chicken cheese sausage, grilled tomato, and 3 mini potato pancakes (seemingly hashbrowns).
Everything you want on your brunch plate!
As for me, I always order something more unique if the menu provides it.
Eggs Tomato Relish ($15)
All these tomato goodness in a plate.
There are slices of bacon strips hidden in that sea of tomatoes.
You have to dip it with the sourdough toast, because I find it a tad salty just with the sauce itself.
Onomnom.
Since it's near to my place, would definitely return for more truffle fries and coffee!
