Hee, hi peeps, new post updated!
I had an advanced Christmas celebration with my favourite clique at Nassim Hill Bakery & Bistro Bar situated near Tanglin Mall.
It is accessible from the bus stop opposite of Orchard station and you can board almost any bus that comes along. (prolly do some research on which one to board.)
Anyway, destination can be reached upon three to four bus stops and a 5-minutes walk.
Or else, just drive over!
Yes, there are parking lots nearby.
And I am really glad that le clique chose this for a simple dinner together.
Christmas of course must have the festive mood, am I right?
The big dark wood tables are just ideal to cater for our group of 7 that night.
And of course, must have Christmas tree!
Take a look at the Festive Menu which will be available from now till the 31st December!
Or else, you can opt for the normal Dinner Menu : http://www.nassimhill.com.sg/pdf/NH_dinner_02dec.pdf
After we placed our orders, we could not hold down our excitement and we proceeded to have our Christmas Exchange!
Pampered with love, one from each of them!
Excluding le Mister who already gave me on separate occasions. ^^
Before our food arrived, our presents filled the whole table.
Hahahaha!
Happy Hour starts from as early as 8am till 8pm!
So le fellow friends decided to order some alcoholic beverages since it was still happy hour.
Tiger Radler ($8).
Erdinger 30cl ($8) / 50cl ($10).
Ice Mocha ($8), and yes you are right, this is le mister's order.
All coffee are served with a double shot which makes the mocha really thick.
Decent cuppa I would say.
Chilli Crab ($16), in which you can choose a bigger serving for the price of $25.
For those who can't get enough of this or if you intend to share, I would recommend you guys to opt for the upgrade.
The chilli really kicks on your tastebuds and you could chomp down on the generous portion of crab meat served within this one dish of goodness.
So thumbs up!
Steak and Eggs ($23), that consists of a 150gm US Angus prime sirloin steak topped with two sunny-side ups, and their homemade entrecote sauce (which was outrageously tasty).
Le mister chose the meat to be medium well done and commented that it was decent.
But from my point of view, I might suggest them to replace the salad with chips/fries to make the dish much more worthwhile.
Salmon with Sweet Potato & Beet Chips ($24).
Salmon was perfectly done and I enjoyed every bit of it.
The chips was something new and doesn't have much of the sweet potato and beet taste.
However, some of the chips looked burnt though.
This dish went up another level with the combi of the previous homemade entrecote sauce from my mister's dish!
Nassim Hill Double Decker Burger ($21).
The picture didn't quite show the two juicy beef patties dashed with the home made special sauce and the side dish of fries in a cup.
What I heard from the ones who ordered this was that it was not bad but as for the size of the burger, it can be considered to be quite small for le two grown man.
Alrighties! Dessertime!
Brownie Parfait ($11)!
I thought the brownie was a tad too hard although the vanilla ice cream with salted caramel sauce, caramelized corn flakes and salted peanuts that topped the brownie were really shiok.
Next up, waffles!
Banana Chocolate Waffles ($18).
Dayummmm, when I saw this waffle tower being served to the table next to us, I nudged the ones beside and they went like, "Omg, we should order that!"
And here we have it, on our own table, the legendary waffle tower.

Visual : 100% delicious.
And nothing can go wrong with bananas and chocolate.
Don't you think so?
Heh, last group photo with our satisfied tummayes!
Always my favourite yearly affair to meet up with this group of peeps.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, folks!
Stay tuned!
