Hatched Review

I am pretty sure most of you all have heard about Hatched.
As the name goes, it provides your daily serving of eggs, eggs .... and eggs.
They currently have two branches now, one is located at Holland V while another at Evans Lodge.
Around a 20-minute walk from the nearest mrt station, Botanic Gardens.
The one I visited was the one at Evans Lodge.
Cute menu eh?
Went on a weekend and surprisingly the crowd wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
Love the cute decorations around the cafe.
Here's what I ordered.
Papillote ($16++), which looked like the boobies version cause' of the sour cream.
The smoked salmon was great but I would prefer a little bit more of the sour cream serving.
I think the toast and the scrambled eggs were ordinary.
And the sauteed potatoes skin was too tough to bite, would have been better if they cut it into smaller portions.
Burly Benedict ($13++ for one; $19++ for duo)
Didn't try this cause it's corned beef topped with a poached egg.
Overall, the food was alright and the ambience was pleasant as well.
If you crave for a simple all day breakfast during dinner, why not choose 'Hatched' ?
